    "En Madrid, el día 28 de agosto de 1975 y debidamente convocada, se reúnen en el domicilio social del club los siguientes señores...". Con esta frase, recogida íntegramente del Acta de Constitución, empieza su andadura el Club Natación San Blas.

     Nace a iniciativa de Manuel Martínez, antiguo Director de instalaciones deportivas del Ayuntamiento de Madrid y del que, a buen seguro, se guarda un grato recuerdo dentro de la natación madrileña. La primera Junta Directiva la preside Jesús María Muñoz y su primer entrenador fue Fermín Benito, que a su vez compartió las funciones de vicepresidente dentro de la Junta Directiva.

    Los primeros años, como los de cualquier organización, fueron muy difíciles, siendo 12 nadadores los componentes de su primera "plantilla". Poco a poco fue incrementàndose el número de licencias, aunque de forma muy lenta debido fundamentalmente a la falta de recursos económicos de las familias de esta populosa barriada.

    Muy pronto, bajo la dirección de Fermín Benito, se empezaron a cosechar los primeros éxitos. Como reconocimiento a su trabajo en el año 1979 la F.M.N. le otorgó la placa al Mérito Deportivo y un año más tarde fue el Club quien fue premiado con este distintivo. Nuestra mejor clasificación a nivel nacional llega en la temporada 1983/84 cuando alcanzamos el puesto número 26 en el baremo de Clubes de la Federación Española de Natación, el tercero de los Clubes madrileños, solo por detrás del Real Canoe y Gimnasio Madrid.

    Cabe destacar en esta temporada una de nuestras más ilustres nadadoras, Yolanda Expósito, cuando consigue vencer en el XXV Trofeo Ugarte dentro de la categoría absoluta, logrando a su vez batir el record del trofeo, que databa del año 1980 y permaneciendo en lo más alto del ranking durante otros ocho años más.

    En esta década, la de los 80, es cuando el Club alcanza su más alto nivel, tanto en natación como en waterpolo. Por aquel entonces ya se contaba con ¡Nueve campeones de España del grupo de edades! de los que por citar alguno de ellos recordaremos a Mauricio Pallé, Dolores Reca, Maribel Ortiz, Cristina Ríos y Manuel Serrano; cuatro subcampeones y más de noventa campeones de Castilla, dos internacionales juveniles (Yolanda Expósito y Tomás Garrido), así como una preseleccionada internacional, (Marta Fernández).

    No queremos olvidarnos de toda esa serie de fabulosos nadadores que formaron nuestro plantel en aquellos años y que destacaron a nivel nacional: Raul Saceda, José López, Yolanda Mirón, Carlos Fernández, Jesús Jiménez, Concepción Núñez, Óscar Pérez e Iván Saceda. 

    En la década de los noventa en la que si bien no se pudo mantener el alto nivel conseguido en los ochenta, no por ello se dejó de tener un nivel competitivo aceptable. Año tras año se han ido formando nuevos valores y, por citar alguno de ellos: José Gabriel, José Mª, Verónica, Iván, Alberto, Pedro, Daniel, etc. En esta década en la temporada 2004-2005, ´las hermanas Pineda (Esther y Gema), nacidas en 1989 con muchas medallas en los Campeonatos Territoriales y Nacionales de su categoría. Igualmente Alexandra Cruzado (1988) y Andrea Cerrejón (1989), todas ellas becadas en el Centro de Tecnificación de la FMN y que lograron llevar al Club Natación San Blas al tercer puesto en los territoriales absolutos de esa temporada (tras Canoe y Moscardó), incluído el título de Gema Pineda en 50 Braza y las medallas de plata de Alexandra Cruzado en 400-800 libre, el bronce de Esther Pineda en 50 braza y varios relevos.

    En la temporada 2007/2008 irrumpieron tanto a nivel territorial como nacional en categoría alevín otros tres nadadores del año 1996 becados igualmente en el Centro de Tecnificación de la FMN, Irene Andrea con un buen número de títulos territoriales y dos oros en relevos en el Cto. de España escolar y varios subcampeonatos nacionales, consiguiendo varias mejores marcas de su edad de la FMN, Carlos Galisteo con otro buen número de títulos territoriales, participación con una plata y un bronce en el Campeonato de España Escolar y Guillermo Sánchez con tres títulos de campeón a nivel individual de España en ese mismo campeonato y una plata y un bronce en relevos, consiguiendo además la mejor marca nacional de su edad en 200 estilos y un record del campeonato en 400 estilos, también atesora otro buen número de títulos territoriales y varias mejores marcas FMN.

Paulatinamente se fueron incorporando nadadores que han ido aportando muchos triunfos al club uno de los cuàles, José Luis Pulpillo, ha conseguido en el Cpto. de España temporada 2014/2015 Oro en 200 libre y Bronce en 400 libre.

Actualmente nuestros mayores esfuerzos se centran en cuidar mucho la cantera para seguir dando a la natación madrileña buenos nadadores.

    En el capítulo de entrenadores, y como ya dijimos al principio, fue Fermín Benito quien llevó las riendas del Club hasta el inicio de los años 90. Tras su marcha se hizo cargo del equipo Rosa González, hasta que en la temporada 1992/1993 llega José Cano, manteniéndose al frente del mismo hasta el año 1995. Nuevamente Rosa dirigió al equipo y, posteriormente pasaron por la dirección técnica José Gabriel Sánchez, Juan Pedro Miralles, María Fuentes, Miguel Mazariegos. Actualmente nuestro fabuloso equipo se compone de nuestro director técnico Mario González, que coordina a David Mazariego y Fernando Barea.

    En 2005 formamos la sección Master, en la actualidad la componen 20 nadadores que participan en la Liga Territorial, en todos los campeonatos nacionales e internacionales, es una sección joven, pero nuestros mayorcitos ya han dado muestras de su calidad y tesón, consiguiendo varios títulos nacionales y unas magníficas clasificaciones por equipos tanto en los nacionales, como en los territoriales, quedando cuartos en estos últimos, en dos temporadas de su corta vida. El mayor hito de esta sección ha sido la participación en el Cto. de Europa de Cádiz de la temporada 2008/2009, consiguiendo muy buenas clasificaciones.

    A nivel directivo, Hilario Sànchez presidió durante varios años el Club, relevado por Emilio Reyes. Actualmente la Junta directiva està formada por Sonia García (Presidenta), Marisa Fernández (Vicepresidenta), Eva Sanz (Secretaria), Miguel Àngel Campo (Tesorero) 

    Nuestra andadura por el Waterpolo ha sido corta pero fructífera. Esta sección nace en el año 1980 poniéndose al frente de la misma, José Luis Uriol. En tan sólo tres años de trabajo el equipo juvenil se sitúa el tercero de España. El equipo que consiguió tan brillante clasificación estaba formado por los siguientes waterpolistas: F. López, A. Pérez, A. Díaz, P. García, A. Gómez, J. Guijarro, J. C. Villa, C. Bajo, E. Pardo, M. Serrano, J. Rollán y C. Fernández. Al año siguiente cuatro de nuestros hombres son llamados para formar parte del equipo nacional junior, Jesús Rollán, Pedro García "Toto", Aureliano Díaz y Ángel Gómez son los convocados, siendo nuestro Club el que más jugadores aporta a nuestra selección.

Richard Schaefer from Orange County, California, boasts an impressive collection of 40 costumes and 30 wigs which help him morph into his favourite female characters including Jasmine from Aladdin and Snow White. The natural brunette wears a steel-boned corset and chest padding to achieve an hourglass silhouette and he's learned how to professionally apply make-up to achieve the perfect doe-eyed look.
